3D VIRTUAL TOURS
If a picture is worth a thousand words, a Matterport® 3D Virtual Tour crafted by Oculum Works is worth a million pictures. We perceive the world by actively engaging with it. Traditional photographs, while beautiful, are static and passively absorbed. A 3D Virtual Tour lets your customers interact with your spaces, guaranteeing engagement. Giving your customers the freedom to explore your space, on their own terms, ensures a lasting, emotional connection. Take your marketing beyond traditional photography and give your clients the interactive experience they desire.

Let your 3D Virtual Tour speak in your place for remote and local clients. Mattertag™ Posts allow you to share information about key features in your spaces by visually anchoring descriptions to specific locations, objects, and elements throughout the Tour. Use Mattertag™ Posts to add titles, text descriptions, and even web URL links to items of interest, allowing the tour to offer the descriptions and explanations you would give during a real tour. Your clients will spend more time on your page interacting with your content and you will be able to tell your story the way you want when you leverage Mattertag™ Posts.
When we upload your model, we use the captured data to render a black-and-white Schematic Floor Plan. Schematic Floor Plans enhance both your online and offline marketing portfolio by giving your clients direct, visual access to necessary information. All of our Floor Plans include individual room labels and measurements—accurate to within 1%. Eliminate multiple return trips or hiring another party to take measurements. We have you covered.
3D Scanning isn’t just about looking pretty; it’s also about capturing useful data. Whether you are an owner, a property manager, or a shareholder, having access to necessary as-built data is essential. Matterport® 3D scans are accurate to within 1%, giving you a true and complete representation of a site.
The data can be exported as an OBJ file and converted to a Point Cloud file allowing it to be imported into AutoCAD® or Revit®. This allows you to use the real model of what you have built for all your management, display, or revision needs. Easily get the real-world measurements of your facilities as well as “eyes” onsite to see the real condition of a property. Use it to document changes not shown in the addenda, providing a complete record of the finished product.
For property managers and maintenance staff, the model can be used as is, with Mattertag™ Posts providing links to blueprints, specifications, additional photographs, and maintenance manuals. No more piles of paperwork and photographs to wrangle. Just a simple universal web browser link.
3D Virtual Tours are the most immersive way to experience real-world places, whether you’re on a traditional browser or using a Virtual Reality headset. With CoreVR, your clients will be totally immersed in your Matterport® Spaces from the moment they plug in.
You can be one of the first in your industry to integrate 3D content for Gear VR and Google Cardboard with your existing marketing strategy. Start leveraging the only quick, simple way to generate shareable Virtual Reality content.
Sometimes you might want to provide the direction and convenience of a guided tour. This lets your customers relax and follow your cues through your property. Whether you need to tell your story by showing the highlights of your facility in a specific order, or you wish to funnel visitors to a Mattertag™ Post where they can sign an email guestbook, let us work with you to create the perfect tour.
Once scanned, your model is hosted online, where anyone with an internet connection and a few moments to spare may access it. Embed your links on your website or share them on social media, and use the internet to reach a worldwide audience. Now you can share your spaces anywhere, anytime, on any browser, and on any device.
The Dollhouse viewing mode allows you to interact directly with the free-floating 3D model of your space via third-person perspective. The controls are simple and intuitive, using familiar gestures and controls common to other applications. When using a mouse right click and drag to rotate, left click and drag to move, and use the scroll wheel to adjust zoom. When operating a touchscreen device, use a one-finger touch-and-slide gesture to rotate, a two-finger touch-and-slide gesture to move, and a pinch (zoom out) or stretch (zoom in) gesture to adjust zoom.
FLOOR PLAN VIEW
The Floor Plan viewing mode quickly and easily allows you to view the top-down layout of your space. In multi-level structures, each floor can be viewed individually or overlaid with the whole. Simply selecting any point on the Floor Plan will portal you into the model, automatically launching the Inside viewing mode.
The Inside viewing mode delivers a virtual interior walkthrough of your space via a first-person perspective. Simply click or tap in the direction you want to move and drag the mouse or drag your finger to look around.
The 360° viewing mode is a spherical panoramic image that surrounds you, allowing you to look around in all directions, just like in real life. This allows you to showcase your space’s exterior and the surrounding areas (yard, patio, deck, etc.) and include them as part of your 3D Virtual Tour.
